Ravi Nathwani

PRINCIPAL DENTIST

Ravi has been the principal dentist at Littleover Dental Practice after taking over in 2011 and working alongside Don Stazicker and Jane Burton, the previous owners. Don and Jane retired in December 2015 and we wish them the best of luck during their retirement.

In the time that Ravi has owned the practice he has made some significant improvements. He has installed new digital X-ray technology, obtaining intraoral images in an instant. He has introduced a fully paperless record and recall system and has even been nominated for the Young Dentist of the Year 2012 and a finalist twice in 2018. Alongside all of this he has carried out extra training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London in restorative dentistry to enhance his skillset and has been awarded with a Dental Phobia recognition.

He has taken Littleover Dental Practice to new heights with a large refurbishment and extension which completed in November 2018, all to create a lovely environment for our patients to be treated.

Ravi takes pride in using minimally invasive dentistry, which helps to put nervous patients at ease. He has had a breadth of experience with patients who have a lifelong fear of visiting the dentist who now will only come to visit him, with patients travelling from far across the country, even abroad.

Jennifer Goldney

ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Jenny studied Dentistry at the University of Leeds and graduated with Merit in 2011. Since then, she has gained a wealth of experience working in practices in both Huddersfield and Nottingham before finally settling at Littleover Dental Practice in 2016.

Since graduating, Jenny has continued to further her training and has gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Jenny is continuously learning and increasing her experience, and is currently enrolled on a year long Aesthetic Dentistry course. She enjoys helping people to improve their smiles, using the most up to date and minimally invasive techniques available. This includes being a certified provider of Invisalign, Inman Aligner and Clear Smile fixed braces. In 2018 she was recognised for her orthodontic work by being nominated for an award with the Academy for Intelligent Alignment systems. In 2023 Jenny Gained a Post graduate diploma in Clear Aligner therapy

Alongside this Jenny provides tooth whitening and composite bonding to transform the appearance, shape and shade of teeth for her patients. This provides her patients with an increased confidence in their smile and therefore the overall appearance.

Jenny has a caring and gentle approach to dentistry that makes her patients feel at ease. Her relaxed nature has allowed many patients previously put off dentistry to regain their confidence and achieve their goals. She enjoys working with both children and adults.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family.

SEAMUS O'DONOVAN

ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Seamus received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University College Cork in 1986. Seamus worked at a family practice in Reading from 1986 until he moved to Derby in 2001 where he and his wife Sarah took over the existing practice on Whitaker Road, Derby. They ran this practice together until the end of 2018 and have now become part of the practice here on Littleover Lane. Outside of work Seamus loves to spend time with his family and enjoys baking. He makes a mouth-watering mince pie!

LAURA COOK

ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Laura qualified from the University of Leeds with a Distinction in Dental Surgery. During her studies, she won Best in County in the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) Dentsply Sirona Dental Skills Competition and published multiple articles in the British Dental Journal.

Laura loves helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable in the dental chair. She believes that a friendly, caring approach makes all the difference and takes time to ensure every patient feels listened to and well looked after. Her focus is on providing high-quality, gentle care, with an emphasis on prevention to help patients maintain healthy smiles for years to come.

Committed to continually developing her skills, Laura went on to complete a postgraduate diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) Glasgow.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys painting, baking, and singing in a local community choir.

USMAAN KHAN

ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Usmaan qualified from the University of Manchester in 2020 and worked in Birmingham before joining us at Littleover Dental Practice. He is passionate for good quality dentistry and building good relationships with his patients.

He is currently gaining membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in England with a view to enrol in a postgraduate diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry. Following the most up-to-date evidence and using the best materials and technology, he is able to provide the best level of care possible whilst still maintaining a minimally invasive approach.

He endeavours to ensure all his patients feel at ease with his calm and reassuring manner, explaining his care in the clearest way possible.

Outside of work, Usmaan enjoys playing and following football, exploring new places, spending time with his family and trips out to the cinema.

LYDIA ROULSTON

ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Lydia graduated in 2014 from the University of Central Lancashire and has recently returned to work after the birth of her second child.

Lydia knows the area well; she lived and went to school in Littleover.

Lydia enjoys the variety of being a General Dental Practitioner and has a passion for educating patients so they can achieve and maintain their best oral health.

Outside of work Lydia enjoys taking care of her young family, making the most of sunny days mountain biking with her husband and children as well as tending to the veg plot in their garden.

She will initially be here on Wednesdays, and her appointment book is now open.

Lydia looks forward to caring for you and your families in the future.

Yemi is extremely passionate about promoting good oral health . She takes her time to understand her patients needs, and enjoys tailoring her advice to motivate them to improve their overall oral health. Yemi continues to go above and beyond ensuring everyone has a great experience under her care.

Outside of work, She enjoys listening to music , cooking, as well as spending quality time with her family and friends.

ANNA SEEDs

PRACTICE MANAGER

Anna joined us in 1997 as a qualified Dental Nurse, after a couple of years she qualified as a Dental Health Educator, followed by taking on the Radiography Qualification. In 2013 Anna got to grips with legislation, so spends a lot of time behind the scenes in the office. However alongside this, you will see Anna on reception at times, and in surgeries where needed. After the extension of the practice in 2018 Anna was promoted to Practice Manager. We look forward to Anna growing in this role.

Caroline Hodson-Walker

ASSISTANT PRACTICE MANAGER

Caroline joined our team in August 2024 after moving to Derby. She began as a Dental nurse and worked at times on reception. Caroline soon became interested in taking on more and more responsibility and we are please to say that as of June 2026 she is now part of our Leadership team and has been promoted to Assistant Practice Manager.

Nicoleta recently joined our practice as a Head Dental Nurse. She attended NEBDN course and qualified in 2020, having experience in NHS and Private Dental Practice.

Lauren joined the practice in 2016 as a trainee dental nurse and we are proud to say gained her qualification in August 2019. Lauren has a calming manner which suits her role in the practice very well.

TARA WALTERS

Tara recently joined our practice in 2022. Having qualified as a dental nurse back in 2016, Tara has previously worked at Private/NHS practices and has gained over 6 years of experience within dentistry working in surgery and on reception.

Tara enjoys meeting the patients and getting to know them. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends.

Michaela Megran Handley

Michaela qualified as a dental nurse in march 2024, but started dental nursing in 2021. Michaela loves being a friendly face for patients, and enjoys getting to know them. Michaela also has a background in performing arts and has gained a degree in performing in stage and screen. She is a Christmas enthusiast and loves being by the ocean.

SARAH KELSEY

DENTAL NURSE & RECEPTIONIST

Sarah joined the practice aged 15 a trainee dental nurse.

She attended the course of National Diploma for Dental Nurses. After 2 years as a qualified nurse she went on to complete Dental Radiography, which she enables her to take x-rays when prescribed by the dentist. Sarah then furthered her skill set and took an impression taking course.

Ruby Fox

APPRENTICE DENTAL NURSE

Ruby has recently joined us in December 2025 as an Apprentice Dental Nurse. Since joining she has been enjoying meeting patients and making them feel comfortable and happy during their visit. She is excited to learn all the aspects of being a dental nurse and to looking forward to pursuing in her career. In Ruby’s spare time she enjoys baking, spending time with family and going out with friends.

Alesha Ali

Alesha is a trainee dental nurse who joined the practice in December 2025. She is passionate about developing her skills and supporting patients throughout their dental journey. Alesha enjoys talking with patients and helping them feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. Outside of work, she loves reading, practising yoga, and spending quality time with friends and family.
